New Production Run!
Many original Amiga 1200 cases are now more than 30 years old. Over time, the plastic can yellow, become brittle, crack around screw posts, or show marks from age, storage, sunlight, and previous repairs.
Therefore, the New Amiga 1200 Case gives your machine a fresh start while keeping the classic Amiga 1200 shape and spirit intact.
This case does not redesign the Amiga 1200. Instead, it offers a faithful replacement shell based on the original case. We improved the areas that matter most, including stronger screw mounting, better resistance to UV ageing and improved airflow.
For this production run the HXC Thinner plastic array on top shell mold is removed.

Modern case, but true to the original
We created these new cases as replacement shells for original Amiga 1200 motherboards.
They keep the look and proportions of the Commodore design. However, they also add small and practical improvements that make the case easier to use with today’s Amiga upgrades and restoration projects.
New case key features

MOQ & Production
- 600 preorders units needed to launch mass production.
- If the final preorder quantity is close to this minimum, we may cover part of the remaining quantity ourselves.
- If the final preorder quantity is farthest from the minimum, we will cancel the production run and refund all preorders
Mold update
- Before the production run the top shell mold will be amended around the HxC window area.
- This improvement should correct a thinner plastic area that can create a visible shade on darker case colors.
- As a result, darker case editions should have a cleaner and more consistent visual finish.
ETA & Timeline (November 2026)
- Preorders window will stay open for 30 days.
- Once preorders close, we will confirm the final quantities and calculate any volume-based refunds and at same time will begin production preparation.
- Production is planned to start early August 2026. A production run of up to 1,000 cases should take approximately 90 days.
- We expect the new Amiga 1200 cases to reach our warehouse in November 2026.
- Then, preorder dispatch will begin after warehouse processing.
